The Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE) is a crucial examination for aspiring nurses in the Philippines. The NLE is designed to test the competence and knowledge of individuals who want to practice as registered nurses in the country. The examination is conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Nursing and is considered one of the most important exams for those seeking to become licensed nurses in the Philippines.
The NLE is composed of multiple-choice questions covering topics such as medical-surgical nursing, maternal and child health nursing, mental health nursing, and community health nursing, among others. The test is conducted twice a year and is usually held in the months of June and December. The examination is held in 2 days: the first three (3) subjects are administered on the first day, and the last two (2) on the second day. Examinees are given 45 minutes to be oriented with general instructions and filling out of forms, and then two (2) hours to accomplish each subject. Six hours are allotted on the first day to answer the exams, and four hours on the last day.
To prepare for the NLE, it is important to study and review the relevant nursing theories, concepts, and practices. This is where the Ray A Gapuz Review System comes in, offering comprehensive NLE Prep Courses to help aspiring nurses pass the examination with flying colors.
